🇺🇸 We invite you and your family to join us in Townsend, Tennessee on July 4th for outdoor, fresh-air fun and Townsend’s largest-ever fireworks show! Yes, we are encouraging masks and physical distancing, but we also encourage quality family time, laughing, singing, shopping, tubing, picnicking, and celebrating our freedom in a safe, responsible and enjoyable manner!

Food trucks, live music, beer, and merch will be located at the Smoky Mountain Outdoor Center across from the fireworks launch field. Bathrooms, hand sanitizer stations, and masks will be available and strongly encouraged. Parking at this location is $20 CASH per car and opens at 5:30 pm.

Our Family-Friendly watch area on July 4th will be located at the Townsend Visitors Center. Parking is $5 Per Car and is CASH ONLY. Each family is invited to pack a picnic, drinks, and lawn chairs, and enjoy the 15-minute fireworks show in their own spacious area! Parking area gates open at 6:30 pm.

Fireworks begin at 10:00 pm!

Join us on July 4th, 2020 for The Smoky Mountain Freedom Festival!!! 🎇 Many great Townsend businesses have come together to bring you the largest fireworks show in town history! It will be an explosive FULL 15 MINUTES LONG!

WHERE: The Smoky Mountain Outdoor Center in Townsend, Tennessee ( Surrounding businesses will be celebrating all day with specials and more - so make a day of it!)

WHAT: From 6:30pm onward, enjoy Live Bands, Food Trucks, and an incredible Fireworks show at the Smoky Mountain Outdoor Center - Fireworks will launch at 10pm sharp! -
A socially distanced, family friendly viewing area will be at the Townsend Visitors Center - simply pack your own picnic, bring your own chairs or blankets and watch the show from your own spacious zone. -
There will be a synchronized music program during the fireworks show that can be enjoyed at **** 91.3FM *****
From SMOC & The Visitor Center and local vicinity.
